2. Stand Up To Bullying! (Bullying &
Kindness)
This show focuses
on respect,
conflict resolution, acceptance, and
kindness; all
of which are central to preventing the huge problem of bullying in
our schools and in our society. According to the U.S. Justice
Department, one out of every four children is being bullied TODAY
in your school! We created this show to help you in your efforts to
put an end to this kind of behavior and show our kids how to “Stand
Up To Bullying!”
As with all of our programs, this show
uses humor and interaction to reinforce what you are already
teaching your children about bullying, both in preventing it from
occurring and what to do when it happens to you. This show is very
similar to “Positive Choices”, but without the substance awareness
songs.
Songs included are, “Stand Up To Bullying”,
“AOK” (Acts Of
Kindness), “Bully Bubba”, “Teasebuster”,
“Rainbow” (for
younger children), “It’s Cool To Care”
and others.

and mix in volunteer songs

with teachers, principals, and students. A great ‘reward’ concert
for a year long reading program finale!

will hear how life is different for foreign children in school and

matter where you go” and that we’re all the same in many
ways.

originals included are, “Friends From Everywhere”, “Reach
Out”, & “Rainbow”. Some popular songs included are:
“Lion Sleeps Tonight

7. Halloween Parade Spooktacular!
OK, it’s not really spooky, but it’sa blast, and there’s no better
way to celebrate Halloween than an assembly of fun, not-too-scary
Halloween songs. This show is designed as a ‘treat’ for your
students with songs like “Halloween Parade”, “Monster Mash”,
“Purple People Eater”, “Witch Doctor” and others.
Aside from the fun, we sort of ‘trick’ the students a bit by
working in some Halloween safety rules to prepare them for one of
the most memorable nights in a child’s life. We also talk
about respect,
responsibility, sharing, and other character themes as they
relate to Halloween.
